Station House Holiday Cottage

Dinnet, Royal Deeside

Set in the small village of Dinnet in the heart of rural Royal Deeside, Station House is the ideal base to explore the North-East Highlands of Scotland. Built on the old Deeside Railway, this luxury cottage was completely renovated in 2008 and is set in it's own spacious garden surrounded by beautiful pine woodlands.

Just within the boundaries of the Cairngorm National Park, it is less than an hour's drive from the City of Aberdeen and it's International Airport, and yet right on your door step are tranquil mountains, glens, and lochs. Only 15 minutes away is the Queen's Highland retreat, Balmoral Castle, the village of Braemar with its Highland Games, and beyond that Glenshee is home to the biggest Ski Centre in Scotland. To the North is Strathdon, home of the famous Lonach Gathering. Many excellent Golf Courses are in the immediate area, the excellent salmon waters of the River Dee are right by our garden, while the hill walker will have difficulty picking which one of many routes to take!
